    CH6 Extreme: Undocumented Pins

    Hello,

I've been trying to figure out what certain pins are on this board, but cannot find ANY information in neither the manual nor this forum, and was hoping somone knowledgeable would assist me in what these pins are for.

The first is a set of 3. aligned 'vertically to the right of the second PCIe x16 header (just above the location for the M.2_2(Socket 3)), with the closest labels appearing to be: PO1508, PO5011, PO5010.

The second appears to be a mini 7-pin header, below the CPU, to the right of the PCIEX1_1 header, but just to the left of the controller stamped with "BIOS." The pin-out looks like a smaller version for what is used for USB or IEEE-1394, but there is no apparent label for it.

Again, both pin sets appear to be undocumented in the manual (or my eyes are failing). Could anyone explain what these are specifically for?

    Greatly appreciated!

I think you have miscounted the 7 pin header near CPU/IC with BIOS stamped. I think it's a 9 pin, is for factory BIOS flash, link.

Dunno what the 3 pin header is.

Thank you for clearing that up! Yes, it is 9-pin - I did miscount.
