There's a new water block and watercooling company around in Chicago for us in the u.S. to seriously look at

I got a new Optimum Foundation copper plexi it's working very well probably look and perform great on an encore too as it does on my old apex
Did some testing against the heatkiller 4 pro copper plexi and results are good with each in their best mount

You can't tell from the two images off the link to ocn ?
Optimus foundation winner by 3c in the pictures mounting coldest core to hottest core temp plus difference in core temps below 10c apart.

9940x sure isn't flat and it's not worth flushing 3 year intel warranty to make it flat
I'm on my 3rd 9940x

1st out and out died on cold startup at 4.2 otherwise it was good little less than 10c difference between core temps.
Second had 20c difference in core temps at 4.5 all core at 1.24v which is the voltage I really use for 4.8 avx offset 3.
Third is doing good at a little less than 10c difference in core temps.

I have no idea about direct die you'd have to ask Optimus WC on ocn but I think it is.

U use Direct Die??? The Die's are not flat, but a flatter block will help a bit in having a better contact with Die.

And yep, they directly say in their web proxe is compatible with liquid metal and direct die.

Yeah i have the Signature V2 from optimus, i bought the raw copper standard intel setup and it works great, just have to remember to use the block with the optimus signature stamp either on top or bottom and not either side when installing on the board.

For those who put this Encore in a case, unable to put the graphics card on the 1st slot of the case (but on the 2nd), doesn't that sound weird ?
