I don’t think it will be out before October. It will probably coincide with the release of cascade lake x chips.

    Still no new information ?

It's still Bizarre that Asus praises the X299 chipset with these "provides a maximum 10 USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, 8 SATA 6 Gbps ports"

But uses ASMedia controllers instead, I do not know why they are stubborn with these controllers
    Sorry for my english

I still do not understand the interest of having all USB3 and SATA ports with a third party controller (ASMedia)
While natively there is Intel wich is more powerful
Fortunately I do not use SATA ports (knowing that it is less efficient than the Intel controller)
    Sorry for my english

A beautiful mainboard but i prefer PCI Express position on the OMEGA ( 3 spaces between the first and second slot allow huge fan video card without losing connectivity), i would like a Thunderbolt 3 and U2 connector. You can use U2 adaptator , for thunderbolt 3 maybe it is possible (Cascade-Lake X support thunderbolt 3 but how ?) ?

Finally The initial Rampage VI Extreme give you more flexibility (U.2/Thunderbolt 3/4 Pci Express 3.0) apart from a lower power supply and increased VRM heating when overclocking and USB 3.2 (upgrade probably possible via add-in card).

Well for the final Rampage Extreme X299 board i was waiting for a perfect combo between Rampage VI Extreme and Omega ... or maybe there will be a Rampage VI Extreme Omega Encore next year ^^' ?

    What's next after socket 2066 ?
