    How to find Bluetooth Chip

Greetings everyone, I have a ROG Strixx X399 for an AMD. How can I find hardware information for my onboard Bluetooth? Device Manager>Bluetooth>Hardware Id isn't showing me what I need. I can enable this Bluetooth via the board's BIOS so I know it's a motherboard embedded chip. I'm trying to download Bluetooth drivers from Broadcom but don't know what chip model to select for driver download.

Thanks for your reply. I tried that but it states best drivers already installed.

Perhaps they are. What makes you think you need a different driver?

Thanks for the info. On my Bluetooth options settings "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC" is enabled. But when I right click the Bluetooth icon the "Allow a device to connect" is greyed out. My phone can see my PC but my PC never picks up my phone. When I try to pair from my phone, I get a make sure the pc device is enabled.

This is why I'm thinking it might be a driver problem.

That option being greyed out is normal AFAIK. It is on my machine. I think it's only used when your PC receives an explicit pairing request that needs approval. If you go to show bluetooth devices you will see any devices available for pairing.

I gave up. I picked up a Bluetooth dongle. Now I can pair to my phone.
