That small fan that came with my Z390-E - Plug into chassis?

With my Z390-E motherboard, there is a small fan that the manual says plug into CPU_OUT.

However, my Corsair H100i Pro also wants to be plugged into the same place.

Since I care more about the readings from the cooler than that a small fan, can I just plug that small fan into CHA_FAN instead? I have a fan splitter cable, so I won't be losing out of a larger fan in my case.

I used the fan header next to the upper m.2 slot. It was easy to run the cable down the heatsink that way.
