Asus CH7 Chipset runs hot

the problem is i need my pc and the asus support is super slow i think it would take weeks until i get a new one. I found a picture with 2 fans in front https://i.imgur.com/pGXsrNr.jpg

Atleast the Asus Support in germany is really worse. So i paid 300 euro for a faulty mainboard and can wait then months until i get maybe a new one

To be fair, it's not necessarily faulty if it works and you can use your PC normally. ASUS might see it that way too.

Have you checked in task manager if there are some programs that are putting load on the CPU and the chipse with it? There are known problems with Steam, Razer software, iCue etc that put a 5% load on the CPU to keep it 10°C warmer on idle and that should take the chipset temps higher too.

Maybe even the power plan that doesn't drop voltages to ~2200mhz could contribute to a bit higher temps.

My clock goes clock only down to 3,5ghz. But even when i have programs open in the background which result to higher temps when i play the chipset hit the 70c and i think its too hot for the chipset

why not just take picture directly from your build?
maybe you simply have the fan installed in a bad orientation ? i.e hot air trapped in the case.
or maybe it is poorly applied thermal pad on the chipset like other said?
even if I wanna guess what could happen, I want something that I can base on; not some random picture from someone else that has nothing to do with you, in your case.

easiest way to test, just pull the board out of the case, leave it on the cardboard box that it comes with.
boot up and see how the temp is doing in an open environment.
and you can add an fan to test to see if by adding a fan helps.

also what is your ambient temp? mine is 25Cish in the early morning and i just boot my computer. because from what I am looking at, you pretty much has 10C above mine on everything, motherboard, vrm etc.
so maybe your room is simply too warm?

The second picture i sent is my build. The only thing i changed is that i added a third fan in front. Outside its 22c and in my room around 25c. I test it next days in an open enviroment.

my apology, i thought you found the picture on internet.
you can also try just remove all the panel and see if temp helps for a quick test before going for all open test. removing side, top and front panel should give enough space.
went to check review on gamernexus and it looks like the front fan placement does affect GPU temp, which can possibly affect the chipset temp?
so it might be something that you can play with and see.

dont think it can be sensor issue, but here is also something that you can try
cutting all power and removing the motherboard battery for a min or 2 to let everything reset.
then just run everything in stock to see how everything goes.
if you want, you can also reflash bios before booting up too.

not really sure why yours run high, maybe your graphic card generate a lot of heat?
but it is in the safe range i think.

Then i let it be how it is. Maybe i try in some weeks to change the thermap paste to see if it goes better.
