Asus memory confusion
Looked at Asus memory QVL for Rog Strix X570-E motherboard and cannot see ANY DDR4 3200 2 x 16Gb memory. There is one 4 x 8Gb which I do not need. I am basically loking for 32Gb 92 x 16) modules. Would prefer Corsair.
I do not want to over clock initially and would prefer to obtain stable 3200Mhz to start with. Any recommendations please?Last edited by sujit60; 09-01-2019 at 07:11 PM.

Only 32g kit I can say I have heard (I'm sure there are heaps that work) used and working on x570 is
G.SKILL 32GB (2x16GB) F4-3600C17D-32GTZR Trident Z RGB (confirmed working 3900x, I'm sure there are others)
However as G.Skill NEO series is released and is becoming supplied around the globe now, you might want grab 32gb kit of them. G.Skill stated something like 'they work with all ryzen cpu's.' and off memory the NEO series is samsung b-die (you may want to verify this before purchase)
I had major issues with Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 at launch 1800x and was many months for it work 'correctly' (your mileage may vary)
Generally speaking, I would recommend any Samsung b-die and this would be my go to option (typically these come with Samsung b-die tax - still they are my choice).

FYI - G.Skill has a RAM configurator... you can select your motherboard and RAM specs you want, and it will give you options. There are plenty of 2x16GB kits...
Corsair has a similar memory finder, but it is not recognizing your mob...
Bottom line, if you can find your board on the RAM manufacturer's QVL, then you are good to go too!
Just mentioning, that 3200MHz is already overclock...**

Thanks for this. Found Corsair CMK32GX4M2Z3200C16 which is ok for my MB. The "Z" I undersytand is for Ryzen 3000 series.
Stable 3200Mhz is ok with me without overclocking.

It on the list here as LPX variant
https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/ar...tibility-List-
of note they also specific x570 board list for ryzen 3000 which your ram choice isn't on. given there is separate list for ryzen 3000 on x570 and it's not listed there or asus memory qvm list, you will be rolling the dice. I would be looking at g.skill not corsair.
Anyway let us know if this works at rated @3200, I would like to know.Last edited by RedSector73; 09-11-2019 at 01:40 AM.

Hmmm. Need to think this one. As you said, G.skill may be better option.

Hi,
As long as you're looking at 3200C16 it doesn't matter which brand all have loose timings 16-18-18-36
You'd really want 3200C14 14-14-14-34 or jump to 3600C16 or C15 as long as the timings are 16-16-16-36 or 15-15-15..
Corsair is stupid expensive yes g-skill and trident-z is a better product and value.
