Do you have fan expert/aisuite/3rd party hardware software installed? *It’ll override your bios.

No change in BIOS 1201. Fan speed still does not change.

Same bug with crosshair viii impact. Hopefully there's a new bios soon which fixes it.

The best thing I did was completely uninstalled that bloat AI Suite. My VI Hero doesn't have proper fan control in UEFI, so I changed to speedfan.
Speed gives me more options to control fans, I can set them to even lower speeds than the minimum limit of fanxpert. Also the cpu temp in AI Suite/fanxpert is wrong, Asus's software uses a sensor that reports a temperature much lower than it actually is. With speedfan you can set the fans accordingly to cpu core temps. Speedfan is also A LOT ligher on your system and doesn't freeze when the pc is under load.Last edited by DSD27; 03-29-2020 at 06:15 PM.

If you're having a uefi bug, just use speedfan to override.
