OLED Temp options

Now using crate for CPU Temps but I see core, package, and CPU temp options available. What's the difference?

BTW-The old LiveDash application didn't have such options. There was CPU temp only, so which one was being used?

Hi,
I'd imaging cpu package would be the most helpful reading seeing tj max works off it.
Even max core temp is usually lower than package by how much tends to vary

79..x series package was often 10c higher than the highest reported core temp
99..x series is pretty darn close to max core temp by 1-2c on package.

Not sure why you'd use this utility personally when hwinfo64 shows all of the above without the usual asus bloat

Thanks. I use it since it's easy to look up at the OLED display to see what my temps are no matter what's happening with the machine.

Yep
Package would be the one I'd want to see on the fly.

I all ready send the report.

But changes are... and those can validated with HWinfo64.

the crate can read the sensors on the board

COre is the avg.
CPU temps the mostly the sensor blow the cpu. (mine does not have core)
core 1 to x is ech core individual.
TEMP3 is the same measurement on the led number with insted of codes, you put auto.

I did check differences. BUT if you use HWinfo64 you will see that temps is what. In the end what is what>>>? that is the question. I have my bios board display the temps and the oled on core 1. since my board cpu have across the board the same temp
