Is this Normal Fan Behavior at Boot ?

Motherboard asus prime x470 pro cpu: r5 3600 ram: gskill ripjaws 16gb at 3200

the fans (only the rear exhaust and the cpu) turns on for a second and then stops ..then turns on again and the pc starts normally...

My old z170 with 6600k didnt have this behavior...

I've never seen any asus board act like that on startup. It does not seem normal to me but I don't own the board you have shown and maybe that is normal for it.

Most if not all of the newer boards start up for a second then boot normally. I think it’s testing ram or something.
It only does this if you flick the PSU switch or it loses power.
A normal cold boot should not have this issue
