Option to Disable Aura Lights on Strix G series (G531GT) irrespective of OSes.

I am using Asus Strix G Series Laptop (G531GT).Aura Lights are great , and Asus has provided aura core service to disable them for those who dont want it(especially when the battery is small). i want to use linux on this beast (at least to me ). i tried installing ubuntu 18.04 on this and it works so smooth.. but i cant disable the aura lights which is dramatically and drastically draining the battery .. Did anyone experienced this issue? any aura sdk gurus who can help me in disabling the aura lights or at least point me to the respective resources where i can accomplish this?

Asus should provide an option to disable the aura lights irrespective of operating systems installed ... (may be in bios).

Open Armoury Crate. Go to "Device" instead of "Aura". Click on "System". Select the "Lighting" tab. If you'd been using Aura lighting you'll get a warning. I believe if you turn off the lighting here, it'll be off at the firmware level, irrespective of OS or aura software. I don't have another OS loaded to try it though.

EDIT: Clicking the settings button on the right in this window will allow you to toggle lighting off.
