I didn't get the issue with the Basic Display Adapter. It started generating the event log entries as soon as the display driver is installed. What do you mean by "it because ASUS missed the option for change PCIe_1 x16"? What option is missing exactly? Do you have a workaround or info related to this problem? Because it is true that with the Prime X570-Pro I cannot change almost anything related to the PCI Express controller and I suspect something similar... What type of motherboard do you have?

    Red face Workaround?

I think I've managed to accidentally find a workaround. I'm still testing but it seems that I don't get any WHEA warnings when Fast Boot is enabled. So basically when I enable Fast Boot in my BIOS and Windows and I don't restart my machine (then Fast Boot is active) I don't get the WHEA warnings even after several hours of intense usage. When the machine is restarted though I immediately get the warnings pointing to nVidia devices.

I guess this has something to do with how the machine's devices are initialized which means that this is a bug in the BIOS itself.

Try it out, you don't have anything to lose!

    Unhappy

I've build a new PC and now having the same issue with WHEA warnings, they are logged every ~10-15 minutes... For 2 days of active use, there was 1 incident when the computer hangs out and didn't react even on reset and power buttons, so I have to switch off power supply to reboot the PC. On the other hand, if you ignore errors in the logs and a single problem with freezing (which is probably related to logged errors), then everything works fine, so I don’t even know what to do with all this.

    PS
Sent a request to ASUS support to clarify WHEA warnings state.
