Z390i and two PCI-E NVMEs setup queries

I have a Rog strix Z390i and also just got 2x2 tb adata NVME drives rated for 3500 read and 3200 write.

But in raid 0 I only get around 3000mb read speed still, is there something I need to do to get it working right? Asus advertise up to 62 Gb/s (6200mb) from such a setup.

I have them set up as a striped volume totalling 4 Tb and tested with crystal disk mark.
