Personally I think we should skip Cascade Lake X and start selling our X299 CPU and mobo now better.

    September 2020 LGA 4189 Icelake X 38 C 76 T *SunnyCove SP Microarchitect is coming.
    The CPU features 32K/48K L1 cache 512-bit 2x Load 2x Store 1.25MB L2 cache and 1.5MB L3 cache per core
    3.2-4.5GHz 2nd Gen Mesh Interconnect 2.0 72 Lane PCIe 4.0 native ( X499 PCH ) 8CH DDR4 3200MT/s.

If you planning to adopt Icelake X buying 256GB DDR4 3200+ Kit for now better.

@the same clock Cascade Lake X is not better 7980XE at all.*

I'm starting to believe you are right... Maybe Intel is not serious with the 10 series and just did a paper launch to show they have something but since the reception was lukewarm they now think to hell with it, lets divert capacity to other chips in the short term and write off 10xxx (or just ship in symbolic volumes).... Instead they may think: let's focusing our attention on IceLake in 2020. And it kind of make sense: February to September is only 7 months so... not a long life for a generation... All is of course pending that intel can actually pull off an IceLake X volume launch by September 2020.
