hey guys, I finally saved up the money to upgrade my 1070 but i'm still new to this I didn't think about bottleneck. the bottle kneck calculater says a little over 18% bottlekneck , how bad is that really and is it still worth purchasing ??? if it is , I was planning on getting the asus strix model card becuse of cooling and highest over /boost clock I saw. is that pointless with bottle neck and maybe I want to get a cheaper card with more base speeds if there of no use to me ??? thank you for any advice.

It depends on the game and the resolution/quality settings. Some games are very GPU intensive and will use all the power it has while barely stressing the CPU. Other games are CPU intensive. Also keep in mind that you can upgrade your system one piece at a time.
