AuraConnect - ASUS Aura controlled with Synapse

I have developed a ASUS Aura Connect module that allows you to control ASUS RGB products with Synapse.

Keep in mind I have only tested this on an ROG Maximus XI Formula and Maximus IX Hero. Everything works (including RGB headers) just make sure you are using the latest available version of AURA as they have made some drastic changes over the past year to the way the AURA SDK works.

I will accept pull/feature requests but I don't expect much as this is really stable and complete from what I have seen.

VeryCrushed, can you explain how to install and use your plugin step-by-step?

I try to install it twice but it didn't work: aura element is shown in chroma studio but when I change color for it - nothing happens.

Aura version is 1.07.71 and synapse version is 3.4.1015.100206.
English is not my native language, so I'm sorry if I make some mistakes.

It works!!!!

I can control with Synapse my Asus TUF gaming x570, cooler Wraith Pism, Gskill Trindent Neo and of course, Keyboard and mouse Razer.

Thank you very much for your program!!

- Synapse 3.4.1024.102510
- Cooler Master Wraith Prism 1.16
- G. Skill Lighting control 1.00.08
- Asus Aura 1.07.71

All instaled and after that go to Synapse Chroma connect to pair.

Thank you for this, works perfectly.

And for possible other newcomers with these RGB keyboards in the new laptops and wondering why nothing appears in the Razer Synapse in the Devices tab; the Aura Sync application was not installed. To install it, get it from Asus website ( https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/download.html ).

I'd just like to add that layout of your devices is important too (in Chroma Studio). The ASUS Aura must come before the other devices, at least in my case that's what I had to do to get it to work. Unfortunately though, even doing this, causes a few gremlins when you have two devices in your box (motherboard and gfx card here).

Looks like the author has archived the git and the Aura Connect Setup file is missing on the git link. Can someone please provide a link to the Aura Connect Installer?

Google is your friend, friend

'Aura Connect' is now 'Chroma Control'

I know this was posted a long time ago. After updating to the latest Armoury Crate version (5.1.5.0) my ASUS TUF RTX 3070 LEDs no longer syncs with Synapse 3.0. GPU LEDs are frozen to whatever colors they were when Aura Sync starts syncing with Synapse 3. My ROG Crosshair VIII Motherboard and G.Skill Trident Z LEDs are still syncing fine. I had to turn off my GPU's LEDs because of this.

I wonder if anyone else is experiencing issues.

After some digging, I finally found the culprit. The issue is either Armoury Crate's GPU HAL or NVIDIA's drivers. The last known NVIDIA driver that works with Chroma Control to sync your ASUS GPU LEDs with Synapse is GeForce Game Ready Driver - WHQL Driver Version: 512.95. Anything newer than that will cause issues.
