USB port for wireless keyboard boot

I have a strix x570-E motherboard. Recently I found that whilst recovering drive using Acronis recovery tool, the keyboard would not work on boot to choose the options. I ended up buying a USB keyboard to resolve this.

Is there a specific USB port for the keyboard dongle that will boot the wireless keyboard?

might help if you told us the keyboard but generally the answer is 'no', that said I had recent other motherboard bios update that dropped corsair keyboard and had to dig up old usb keyboard and formally ask asus to fix the bios (which they did in about 3 days).

Thanks. That is useful. I can get to the bios using the wireless keyboard but the Acronis recovery (hopefully it is not often!) caused the issue. I can, I guess, use the USB keyboard for that. My old Gigabyte had a specific USB port at the back which would enable the acronis to function.
