Nice for 1.43 vcore, I am really thinking of grabbing that Swiftech water setup now, after reading reviews it just smokes the H50/70, could even loop the entire system ( GPU, Chipset, CPU ) and still be at a lower temp. The only concern is pushing that much Voltage through the chip for a long a period of time. Although I will go SandyBridge once the X68 motherboards are available.

Very nice clocks there!

I see your max temp on core 0 was 79c, what CPU cooler are you using?

can you lower your CPU core and remain stable, I usually recommend staying below 75c load for prolonged system use and reliability. keep in mind 80c is not in the danger zone and will not burn up your CPU

naa i need a 1.43 with my chip to run 4.6, but long time overclocker here, i dont worry about vcore, its temps that will kill ya, if have a good loop can go much higher on vcore 1.5 even, swiftech gtz block btw !!!!, lapped and ducted outside

I should maybe lap my H70.... Too much effort, if I am removing the cooler its because I am replacing it with the Swiftech EDGE H20-230. Of course it will be outside the system. I was able to adjust my OC this afternoon.

23x183 @ 4.2GHz 1.35v
QPI DRAM 1.3v
Memory @ 1547MHz 1.66v 8,8,8,24 2N

I was able to work on it all afternoon, no gaming yet though, I figure it will crash. I tried running 23x200 it posted and went into the bios but the bios would lockup with weird symbols all over. I am guessing I would need atleast 1.43v min even more if I decided to do it. I am a little weary of running that voltage with an H70. What do you guys think, should I go ballz to the wallz and see what happens.

u should be able to do a 23x192 @ 1.35 with h70 leave qpi on auto, and make sure jumper on board is set qpi llc enabled that will stabalize the volts on qpi, then go back to bios see what qpi volts is from auto and set that to stay there

No the system won`t even enter Windows, it will post, but entering windows crashes instantly and then just resets. Even at 1.4v. My processor is just a resource hog. Where do I located the jumper, I am not home right now so I can`t check.

I'll try messing with it tomorrow, working on GF Faction reputation tonight and just got home.

Tried setting 23x192, tried at 1.35v Vcore, QPI/DRAM at Auto, DRAM 1.66v, set memory to 1066 and used shit timings. System would post but would not enter windows, tried 1.375v, system again would not enter windows, would not BSOD would just reset. Tried 1.4v and again would not enter windows, tried 1.435v system would not enter windows but would BSOD with MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. Thinking I may need to look at upping my ICH to 1.3/1.35 and IOH up to 1.2/1.25 as there BSOD relates to peripherals/HDD/CDROM Media ( don't have a CDROM isntalled though ).

Haven't tried the Jumper, too tired.

yea something wrong there, u should be able to do 21x210 or 23x192 fairly easy, just a few settings make sure llc is set to full cal
