Hey,

I reflashed the BIOS update yesterday to the latest 1302 version and i've noticed since doing so that the CPU is running 10 c hotter.
Anyone else notice the same thing?
Nothing else has changed in the environment - same ambient temp etc

The build is as follows
i9-9900k
ASUS Maximus XI Formula
ASUS ROG Strix 2080ti
4x 8gb Corsair Vengence 3200mhz
Corsair 680x
Corsair H115i Platinum
3x ML140 fans
3x SP120 pro fans

Hey man. are you using Auto voltage or some OC? If auto change it to offset. my case for APEX XI Auto is high i have 90c+ but i play with it and for me offset -0,115V and LLC4 i have max 1.180V on bios 1302 with 1105 i have 1.170V ( so if you using auto there is chance that auto Voltage is bit higher because in my case i can see higher voltage on a new bios) Important is that just changing it from Auto to Offset i drop from 90c to 62c

BTW: if someone could explain why manufacturers doing this stock voltage so high I would be grateful.

Thanks, I'll have a look at the BIOS settings then. Never occured to me that they would change the voltage in an update.
