1. update the bios to 1302
2. once that is done. Select CSM disable, then there is a part there select full UEFI Insted of other os.

save and restart

Then go to secure erase and see it that appears.

What Adata you have? is a sata m2 or a nvme m2 I have work with NVMW gamix and Sx8xxx models

It wont if you use the last pcie slot, its tie to the chipset.

Do you see the drive in the bios? You might have to update your drive firmware, what version of bios are you using? 1005 fixed lots of drive compatibility issue.

For the slow samsung, when you installed the drive did you remove the plastic peel from the thermal pad?

Download and install Samsung Magician on a working system and open and click on "Secure Erase" (make sure you have an empty flash drive), choose the flash driver that you want to make bootable then click "Start". You need to change to legacy boot when booting in to this. Note: This is only for the Samsung SSD. The BIOS doesn't seem to erase Samsung drives properly. Also, make sure you turn on native NVMe in the BIOS/Firmware.

i have it working on my samsung drive now but it just does not find the adata drive which is the one i wanted to use as the boot drive , when this StarTech.com 3PT M.2 SSD Adapter Card - 1x PCIe (NVMe) 2x SATA M.2 PCIe 3.0 arrive i will put the m.2 on that then secure erase it again and see if that helps, (i have a funny feeling its because it has windows on it i could not erase on the old as it was my boot drive and i forgot to go into bios and do it there
