Hi,
Never used a strikes line board
My x99 sabertooth has been up and running for a long time May 2015 never an issue
Only the last year and a half or so have I limited voltages off of auto to standard.
Some I've noticed were way more than really needed
Vcore was never one that ran away
Mostly VCCIO CPU was one of the really high voltages way past it's standard simply by increasing memory from 2133 and cranked it up to 1.25v+ also activating xmp profile.
I believe Input/ vccin was always adding more than needed too at about 1.2v+ where as 1.95v max was perfectly fine
So yes asus for some odd reason increased some voltages way past many novice understanding why mostly because of retched broadwell-e bios
Haswell-e bios never acted this way and to date still does not and is where I still am at 2101 bios for x99 sabertooth.
I don't care how insecure it is ms updates installs intel micro codes.... so boom what ever paranoia is a mental illness.
