Asus ROG Scabbard without the atrocious and tacky branding please.
What idiot deserving of being fired thought that we would like this ostentatious, in your face branding?
I don't have anything Asus in my current build, none of your peripherals, I don't want any of your branding. A subtle "Asus" in the lower right hand corner would be great. When you redesign your mouse-mat I may consider picking one up:

Actually I did have Asus parts, my first computer I put together back in 2013 (been on the gaming laptop side since 2011) was an x79, $579 RIVBE + 4930k build. That motherboard was absolute trash. I would say about 50% of the fan headers broke within year two, AI Suite was trash and was a nightmare to uninstall, my overclocks were never stable and I would get a BSOD every other week. Just lousy motherboard, and way overpriced (for what?!). Now, my $270 Z370 Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 motherboard looks way better and I've had zero issues, no broken fan headers, since piecing it together in 2017. I still have Asus' PG278Q alongside my AW3418DW, which I use solely for 3D content at this point. That monitor is fairly decent honestly, so it's not all bad with Asus, but yeah overpriced hype-train marketing with their products. $600 motherboards are laughably stupid, I wish I knew better back in 2013.

Thanks for the reply, I've done some research and I've found some posts comparing the two and apparently they aren't the same mat:

hmm Ive tried that one, I found it was meh for the 50€ price tag. Raised logos + 2mm isn't for me.
Isn't the coolermaster mp510 cordura fabric aswell? weird. I thought it'd be the same as scabbard, just different brand. The mp510 is only 28€ and same size as scabbard, also 3mm thick.

I thought it would be the same too, but the surface is alot more like actual textile fabric. The glide is slower than the scabbard, but in terms of overall speed it's like a qck heavy. The texture feels like carpet - very rough to the touch

good to know, not worth trying then.
wonder what the hyper X fury speed edition is like. Was interested in that one or the mp510."
