Would anyone be if it's possible to put a small fan on this PCIe card (to cool down the NVMe a bit more) ?

Google nvme heatsink fan and you'll find one. Amazon has one listed.

Maybe I'll wait to see if Intel releases a new Optane SSD,
But Micron wants to buy the share of 3D Xpoint that Intel holds ...

Not yet now. But I guestimate the price will be cheaper than Optane from Intel.
