Asus rog phone 2 gamepad

I can see on videos for the gamepad that it is like the finger trigger that you map out the bottoms but my question is that, will it have normal controll support like when you add a Xbox or PS4 controller? Like if I want to play a game on Xbox streaming app that requires controller because it don't have screen touch function. will this work for every use?

I may be misunderstanding your question but it's an Android device so it supports Bluetooth controllers. You wouldn't have to use the accessory if you didn't want to.

Im talking about ROG Kunai Gamepad and it's a accessory that you need to buy. My question is.. The controller is it key mapping only or is it a function you turn on? I want a controller that's working in every possible way not only on touch games with buttons on the screen.

Take a look at these FAQs from ASUS:
https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1040977/
https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1040999

It appears to be dual mode: screen region mapping, or ?xinput? I've heard that some games like PUBG mobile won't allow a 3rd party software like ArmoryCrate to launch them so I don't know if ASUS has it working and if it will continue to work after patches. There are some launchers that seem to work but those may break with further updates. But if you have a game that will accept a gamepad then it should work.

I don't have that device nor do I plan to buy one so I can't test or confirm anything.
