TUF RX 5700 XT OC Cooling issues
The ram on my TUF 5700XT is running very hot : 100+ degrees.
I see reviews of this card which say the cooler is flawed and even running hotter than refference cooler.
Seems the general advice is to stay away from this card.
Should I be concerned?

i was curious, so i went and youtubed your card.
if what this dude says is true, your memory is like 5 degrees hotter than max allowed and tolerable spec.no siggy, saw stuff that made me sad.

Wait, what?!? No cooling whasoever on the ram?
Saw another review somewhere where asus had fitted a simple heat spreader. Are there different versions?
(Edit: Nevermind, I see the first video was for the non-XT version. Still - both are utterly bad)
Anyway, with or without the ram heat spreader all the reviews say that this card is running waaaay to hot.
Contemplating returing the card.
Would have liked an official asus statement as to why they designed the card this way.
Could there be a reason for it. Could it be that the think the temperatures are acceptable? Surely they must have tested the card/cooler themselves?

I've returned the card. Not worth risking it.
Got myselph a Sapphire instead.
