Updating my PC case and Aura Sync/M.2 advice
Hi all,
Hoping someone can help/give me advice on a little up spec-ing of my current PC build. I have a Asus Prime B450-Plus with a Aura Sync 4-Pin connection and this is my main bone of contention. I want to get a new case with front/side tempered glass and 4-6 aura sync fans. However it seems to me all cases that say aura sync compatible are 3 pin setups/controllers, I'm I missing something? I seem to find the 4-pin aura sync are 5050 LED header pins and can find LED strips for them and that was hard, but not many fans at all. I would like the cases fans to be controlled by the MOBO but this seems way more difficult than I though it would be.
I also want to upgrade my system drive to a m.2 card and can see that it takes "M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)" I can find normal SATA M.2 cards and know that they will fit but really I want a PCI-E NVMe SSD which I believe will be quicker but I have to give up SATA ports 5 and 6 to do this.
I have listed a few bits below that I think will work but I'm unsure of which PCI-E m.2 card that are ok, and whether the fans I found would also do the trick, why is it so hard to find a 4-pin Aura sync setup??
Also if anyone has alternatives let me know always oopen to suggestions.
