Crosshair hero VIII bios 1105 update, average voltage issue

Hi,

I have updated the bios of my crosshair heroVIII motherboard to the new 1105 version.

Everithing works just fine, but I have some data that seems weird to me, compared to the previous bios...

The peak core voltage, and the average core voltage, in amd ryzen master are always the same, and are pretty high values.
In previous bios versions, average core voltage was much lower, so I did not worried too much about the high peak core voltage...

Is it normal behaviour? Does anyone else have experienced something similar?

Thanks, and regards.

Ok, so, I see the issue here... None of my cores goes to sleep, never...

Anyone with the same issue with the new bios?

If I cannot find a solution I will go back to the previous BIOS version...

I'm on 1201 on the Crosshair VIII Wi-Fi now, and having the same issue, no cores sleeping under idle.

I can get some cores to sleep if I kick a lot of processes, but in the end I just accepted the state of things. Maybe it will be fixed in a bios update, who knows.
No performance issues, so my only gripe is that idle temperature is higher than it should be.

Did you manage to downgrade your bios? In the changelog for bios 1105 for the wi-fi version, this is stated:

"* You will not be able to downgrade your BIOS after updating to this BIOS version"
