    i would like to disable this but im not clear on the instructions. anyone able to walk me through disabling this and regaining my performance on my 9900x

    EDIT: nvm got it added via an elevated cmd prompt. havent added to the registry this way so it took a little research for me to figure out where to copy the new registry code to so it would be added correctly.

    Do not worry Intel will release new microcode for your CPU platform as well. For all Skylake X SKUs we're now safe with 02000064 microcode.
