I've downloaded this Bluetooth drivers for BT-270 from your thread for my G73jh-TZ224V and it BROKE my win7 system.

    Got this error now :

    Windows Boot Manager
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
    1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
    2. Choose your language settings and click "Next."
    3. Click "repair your computer."#

    Status: 0xc000000f

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible"

Spent a few hours googling about this error, tried many solutions with WinRE (Bootrec.exe /FixBoot, Bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd, ect) but nothing...
Additionally i loose all my personal datas on the c:
The only way now, is to reinstall all the system, all the drivers, all my games. So sad for all my iphone datas, dead island coop progress (level 37), and so many things...
Before reinstalling I need to try a recovery software to see if i can restore some datas...

Conclusion : WTF with this damn BT270 drivers !

    Any ideas?
Don't bother with an SP1 version, you can always patch later. Use one of the clean original ISO's listed on the following guide:

Yes, download and use ABR (Activation Backup and Restore) to save your oem key to text file.-->http://directedge.us/files/abr/ABRbeta.exe

ABRbeta version has Windows 7 support.
    Easy to use, instructions here-->http://directedge.us/content/abr-act...up-and-restore

What about a system restore? Roll back to the last restore point before you installed the BT driver.

But doesn't it seem like a lot of people around here turn that off, for some reason? I don't know where they are getting the advice to do that, but it's such a useful option when you get these bad driver installs or other situations that are hard to "undo." Windows provides this easy, painless access to a "do over" whenever you want/need it. I don't see why people would intentionally turn that feature off....

But not everybody wants to buy another program and run system images all the time. System Restore is built in! It runs by default! Seems like a no brainer to me.....

I use both, since I don't consider one a substitute for another.

Sorry to kind of jump this thread, but recently did a clean install on my G73JH and I installed the atk package drivers 1.0.0005 from asus.com and I was having problem with my hotkeys being laggy or completely unresponsive... I updated to 1.0.00014 from here and still laggy so I installed the keyboard filter drivers here and restarted and it appeared to be working fine, until I opened up hwinfo which I just started using and they were lagging again. I close hwinfo and they work fine again. Any ideas on what is causing the incompatibility here or how to fix it? Thanks.
