The link at the top for the Windows 7 ISO is not taking me to the page. Is there an updated link?

Unfortunately, no one ever removes or changes the name of this thread, so it has to get reposted about every other day:

This thread is no longer maintained, and Chastity isn't around much anymore. The links have been dead for awhile now.

You're better off downloading newer versions of the drivers for your clean install anyway. The ones on those driver disks (which would be enormous downloads), are usually outdated before they even ship.

Is the site that host these files down? Most of the links above don't work such as: Seagate ST9500420AS 500GB HDD v5 Firmware referring to http://pcaudio.ath.cx/stuff/

Sorry for double post meant to quote, to bring it to your attention.

OOps sorry didn't look at the last post. I see why now.

It would be helpful if members would at least browse the thread a bit....even if just the last few posts....before posting messages to Chastity and reports of broken links. They would quickly discover:

THIS THREAD IS NOT MAINTAINED. Chastity doesn't respond. Most of the links are dead, and they are not updated.

Why doesn't some moderator rename the thread to make that clear?

I use to be a moderator for Abit forum and The Raptor pit forum.
So I know a thread can be locked, witch would be the right thing to do and a statement added to first post that this thread is no longer supported or kept up in BIG LETTERS & FONTS.
Not everyone will read the whole thread or look at the last few posts before posting asking questions.

Ummm it seems many broken links. Trying to get to the 203 bios update link, produces a site not found in google chrome.
Trying to get to the powerdvd produces a file not found.

Any updated links to these two files?

    Thanks

Edit: my laptop is the Asus G74sx

"The webpage at ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/nb/G74SX/G74SxAS203.zip might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."

I think Asus has taken that site down and moved their files to a different server, but even aside from that, this thread isn't maintained and updated anymore.

BIOS 203 is readily available on the G74 product page. I haven't yet seen alternate download links for the various drivers and programs we often found buried in the ftp site, so I'm not sure where you could find a PowerDVD link. (That wasn't OEM-installed on the G74 anyway, was it?)
