Hello, everybody!

I heard that in order to prevent CPU damaging notebooks switch off when the temperature reached critical degree.
Some times under loading the CPU temperature reaches 100 degress and holds like that BUT it doesn't switches off.

So, I have 2 questions:
1) Does it mean that the processor i7-6700 in my model can work under such temperature?
2) Can I setup some how manually that the notebook switches off when the CPU temperature exceeded, let's say 90 degrees? I looked in BIOS but didn't find such option where?
All answers and advices will be much appreciated.
