Crosshair VIII Formula: System hangs before BIOS on 1st try with code 80 on OLED

Hi,

I switched recently to a Crosshair VIII Formula.
But that board is behaving weird... When turning on the PC for the first time on the day, the system hangs even before the BIOS beep, stating code 80 on the little OLED display. When turning it off (have to hold the power button) and back on it works perfectly. Does not happen again when the system is still "warm".

Any ideas?

Code 80 is listed as Problem with AI Suite Software, Try to uninstall AI Suite Software from your System.

Code 80 is related to wrong settings of your RAM. Just reset the bios (button on the back) and try again 🙂
