I had a similar issue, was using vi extreme apex and updated to viper steel 4x8gb 4000mhz cl19 ram from corsair 3000mhz 4x8gb cl16 and with bump in cpu core voltage to 1.250 at 4500mhz oc(all built in xmp profiles)on 7900x it worked perfectly but when i updated to omega with the same settings my system would freeze and i played with various settings but it would just not work and i had to return the memory to newegg, i strongly believe that bios has bugs or this board is not as good as asus claims and now back to corsair ram and it works fine, waste of money to upgrade to this omega board.
