Rog Thor RGB problems.

So I built an all Asus build. Saved money finally got to build my ultimate PC. Uhhh well one issue. I have a 1200W Thor PSU and a Z390e gaming mobo. Well the Mobo has a 4 pin RGB header and the Thor has a 3 pin RGB connector. So how do I make this work? Why would Asus release their top of the line ROG hardware and it’s not compatible??? I’ve seen builds with it working so how did these people get it to work? Is there and adapter I can buy? I’ve seen some the go from 4 to 3pin but will that work?? My build looks stupid with everything sync together and my PSU is just sitting there red. If it can’t connect with my mobo that’s the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent on trying to match everything. Asus should be ashamed. Is there anyway I can make this work? Idk I’m so confused and nobody can seem to help or give me an answer.

I am assuming that it is the strix z390e motherboard you are talking about. There are two 3 pin 5volt ARGB Addressable headers on your motherboard. From this picture it is the white header at the bottom of the motherboard. with 3 pins coming out of it. Please look again..

InWin 909 Silver RGB build
i9-10900k
ROG Maximus XII Apex
ROG Matrix 2080 ti
Gskill Trident Royal 4400 16g

Everything overclocked and love it.
ROG Awesomeness !!!!

Don't know, but I'm going to try this for the ROG Strix Helios front panel glass when I receive it (Note: received this part before ROG Strix Helios computer case). I should not have read the specifications beforehand. I am working with ASUS Support for an extra 3.5" HDD cage (3.5”/2.5” Drive Bays: Up to 4pcs (Pre-install 2pcs) specifications page website) and GPU riser cables for vertical position mounting (Page 27 Instruction manual), because they are not sold anywhere else.

ROG Terminal. It's expensive but it's a solution for both, THOR and HELIOS.

We are talking about situation where there is nothing to split. No 5v ARGB connectors on motherboard.

Like Maximus XI Gene doesn't have one, and by the sound of it there's more boards like that.

I am not talking about any particular board. I didn't even check the board. I assumed that he knows that he doesn't have 5v ARGB header and I just expressed the solution for that problem 😉
