G74 sx & Sentelic touch pad issue

Hi I have a G74sx laptop

sentelic software 9.4.9.5 R1

normally I have the touch pad disabled when I have a mouse plugged in but every time that I put the laptop to sleep the touch pad enables itself again and I have to go in and disable it once more.

How do I stop this from happening?

actually I just found out that I have to do this anytime that I even close the lid.

Are you running Windows 10 1903 or 1909?

If you are then update your ATK drivers to version 1.0.0061 (64bit):

Or ATK driver 1.0.0050 (32 bit):

using 1903 64 bit version windows 10, installed from your first link, restarted computer, closed lid, opened lid and same situation happens, touch-pad is active when there is a usb mouse plugged in

You have to first uninstall the old version ATK driver before installing the new version.

Is that what you meant to state?

If so, I would suggest you roll back the Sentelic driver to an earlier version.

Do you have another mouse to try? Does a different USB mouse change the symptom?

Yup did that, was forced to uninstall and restart before i could install newer package.

Only difference seems to be that now i have an OSD for the FN functions. both my logitech mice produce same thing of touch pad coming back to life after closing the lid
