I'm wanting to overclock my 9700k to 4.5ghz but I'm new to the whole overclocking thing and don't want to set something wrong, I've watched a bunch of videos on overclocking this cpu but all of them are for 5.0ghz, So if someone can help me out and give me some settings that would be much appreciated.

i7 9700k
Asus z390-H
16gb Ram

just use the Intel Performance Maximizer (IPM) auto overclock if you are new to overclocking . mine overclocked to 5,1 Ghz but the auto program settled for a conservative 4.9 GHZ all core (I7 9700k). running for a month now with heavy gaming and very stable. Once you have made further research then try manual overclocking next

It naturally boosts all cores to 4.6 so 4.5 would be a downclock :confused:
