PG279Q Frame drop in windows.

i got the monitor a few days ago and have now noticed a very annoying issue. when i play a game with gsync on and then go back to windows i start to have massive frame drops in windows all the way to low single digits. and the only way to fix the issue is to manually disable and re enable gsync. did anyone have similar issues and maybe know how to get rid of it?
