The battery should heat no more than the charging brick. There should be little heat on either battery or charging brick, if left overnight, plugged-in.

It was just charging for one hour and it was heating

Was the laptop in use or simply powered-off and charging brick plugged-in to the wall?

It was in use but idle

What is the battery condition (Icon in lower right - percentage)?

It started heating at about 50% till 95% thats when i unplugged it

So, you were gaming with the laptop plugged-in and your battery dropped to 50% and then charged to 95% before you unplugged the charging brick?

What the heck are you gaming that would cause drain of 50% of your battery? No wonder your battery is hot. I don't think you have a problem with your battery but perhaps a problem with your settings while gaming.

Good Luck
