3800X Not Working on CH7

CH7 with 2901 BIOS
3800X, TridentZ 3200, Samsung 960 Pro, WC Vega 64.

I decided to upgrade my processor from an 1800X to a 3800X this Black Friday. When I swapped, I had the PC power supply switched off and waited a bit, swapped, powered up and all seemed fine. After a little bit, there would be a pulsing lag for sound and video. It's become worse, where things take forever to install, and sometimes fail to install. Moving the mouse cursor, you'll see it pulse. I've gone so far as to Clear CMOS, run Auto all, Completely reinstall Windows with bare bones, only installing AMD Chipset and Graphics Drivers. No difference. I've re-flashed the BIOS, tried running strict manual 1.350 VCore, 1.025 SOC.
I put my 1800X back in and all works great, this lead me to believe I just received a bad processor... I got a replacement, and the replacement does exactly the same thing.

I delayed so much in posting this that I finally gave up on Windows and their "Clean Install" and did a true clean install from a bootable USB. That fixed everything.

So, a lesson to all, a clean install within windows is not actually a clean install. I'm just glad my system works again.

Glad you got it sorted out. And yes, the Windows 'reset' feature is not the same as doing a fresh install.
