ROG-STRIX-RX590-8G-GAMING issues / freezing Windows

Hi Guys,

I'm a Nvidia user for more than 25 years, and I've been confirmed why, I guess.
Short story:
A friend of me asked me to build a pc with some used parts and some new.
So we did.
A Z370F motherboard, Seasonic Plus gold 750w PSU and a ROG-STRIX-RX590-8G-GAMING are the core parts.

System build, Os installed, drivers and latest bios.
Everything worked fine. Until Steam and Epic was installed.
As soon a game is running, the computer will freeze.
It can take 3 minutes or it can last for 30minutes, but it will freeze.
Installed different drivers but not really a success.

We contacted the shop that sold the ROG-STRIX-RX590-8G-GAMING and he told us that we have to use wattman to adjust voltages and memoryspeeds.
Jezus, why not just plug and play like I'm use to.

Anyone who can get us on to the right pad?
I'm out off ideas and I just hate to fiddle thing to adjust basic stuff.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

If extra info is usefull, just ask.

@Xeromist:
This test ended successfully 4 out of 4times. I think I can say that the ram is okay.
Any other paths that might lead to success?

Thanks

Without some idea of what is triggering the freeze it's going to be shooting in the dark. Best bet might be swapping out some parts to see if the issue persists. Try using your Nvidia GPU in there for a bit. Anything you can swap will eliminate a potential source of issues.
