Looking to upgrade my monitor. Love the frame rates I’m getting but my eyes hurt a bit when gaming and I’d like a sharper/more detailed picture. Is 1440p worth it or better to just jump to a 4K monitor? Not sure I’d be happy with 60FPS which makes me hesitant about 4K. Something easier on the eyes would help too.

My apologies, I neglected to include that this is purely for gaming. Mostly RPG’s/Adventure: Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed, Jedi Fallen Order, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption 2, Dragon Age, and looking forward to CyberPunk 2077 and Avengers coming next year.

I want the best visual experience I can get; beautiful color, limited blur and stuttering, etc. I want to feel completely immersed. If there’s a different monitor you would recommend, that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you for your time.

I just purchased an Alienware AW3420DW - I had a 4k Samsung computer but wanted something larger and curved. An added benefit is the monitor is g sync since I run a EVGA GTX 2080ti FTW3 Ultra

Thank you. That looks nice, but how is 120MHz? Is it any better with DisplayPort instead of HDMI? Was hoping for at least 144MHz...
