Crosshair VI Hero & Trident Z Royal 3200

I am starting to upgrade my computer 1 part at a time. Currently I have a Crosshair VI Her0 with latest bios, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.4 Mhz), 2 x Trident Z RGB 8GB 3200 (16-18-18-38 @ 1600Mhz), EVGA GTX 1060 6GB video card in a Thermaltake Overseer RX-1 case. I recently purchased the Enthoo 719 case along with Trident Z Royal and the question I have is this. Can the Royal work on the Crosshair VI? I can not find any info as to whether it can or not. Now before you tell me I should have bought this or bought that first, I am planning on getting a new motherboard (Most likely the Crosshair VII Hero) and CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) at a later date, I just went after these first. All I do is game and nothing else so I don't need a lot of power and beside, I can't afford the power to begin with. And with the cost of video cards now a days, the is an expense that is going to have to wait, before you mention that. So Can I or can't I?

Hi,
You can search for the item number and find the kit you have on g-skill website
Look on it's qvl list for your board.
If your board is listed you should be fine
If not it's a crapshoot.

Best bet if in doubt and don't want to go by qvl lists of either products just use the b-die finder for the memory speed you want.
AMD and Intel love samsung b-die which the kit you have is not with those loose timings 16-18-18-38

These two kits are b-die

Does it matter if it is b-die or not. I do not know if my current on is since it is not listed on the link you provided but still run my system with no problem,

Hi,
Okay so you're back to asking the same question again
My crystal ball is out for repairs you'll have to try the set you have and see for your self if it works or not

B-die would work regardless of platform
Thought that was as clear as day light

Yes I am back to asking the same question because I do not feel it was answered. It may be plain to you but it was not to me. As stated before, My current set (Trident Z original) works just fine. Of course when my Trident z Royal gets here I will try them and go from there. It just would have been nice to know before they got here. You also said to check the qvl list for my board which I did. But that was not good since the list is from 2018 and the TZR memory would not be on it since it is a new version of Trident Z which came out in late 2018, most likely after the qvl was created. You also pointed me to two kits that are b-die but those kits was not what I was asking about. You did answer the question (sort of) about b-die in the reply but again not what the initial question was. But thank you for trying.
