Asus Aura switching to default for no reason all of the time

i have Asus Arua installed.. i have a AIO and 2 fans hooked to the RGB header on my asus tuf x570 board.
everything is detected on my board, including the viper rgb ram. whats not detected is my EVGA GPU.. (PLEASE WORK WITH EVGA TO MAKE IT WORK)

i have it set to DARK BLUE. 0,0,45.

for no reason at all, at random, the colors change to default.
its so annoying.. its like my pc starts flashing rainbow at odd times.. even at night. it lights up the whole room.

i cant see any options that would cause this.. i have to reopen the software and resetup all the rgb.

Try to delete the lastprofile.xml in the lightingservice folder and make the settings new*

This problem has been there for ages for me.

Since a couple of months I use this little helper to get the settings loaded after every reboot of Windows:
