how to set up memory speed with incompatible memory AM4

Retired
Not applicable
hello 😉
i made a simplified tutorial how to set up memory speed with stubborn memory kits
my kit is not compatible with this motherboard and this tutorial may not work with all stubborn memory kits out there (incompatibility is a spectrum)
background:
this memory kit fails to load D.O.C.P and if manual OC 3200mhz is set without stepping up the speed, it will fail = clr cmos is needed to restore the settings to default again
i used 3200mhz/16.16.16.16.36 in this video but 16.17.17.17.38 can also be used, or whatever you prefer
(my kit is rated for 3000mhz 15.16.16.35 so its a modest overclock in this video)
i have seen so many post in this forum about this so i decided to make a video
(different bios versions can however perform differently, the newer the bios version = more issues with this kit in particular)

hardware:
asus strix b450-i
bios version 1201
ryzen 2700x
crucial ballistix tactical 2x4gb/3000cl15

memory kit:
83832

memory kit after OC @stable:
83833

Good luck
