I still have missing part but this is what I'm working on, this little i7-3960X Extreme Edition just wait for the special block Eddy ( EK ) is making for me ,special Area 66 edition.. something tell me it's not in the same league as a H100 , lol , stay tune for this tread too.
Do you think the D 14 is the best cooling I own ? , really ? , ..... I was just showing what look the kind of air cooler the op ask for , this computer is use in the corner of my lab to download stuff, see it's not even in the house, in the shop in the garage

and now too stay on topic,
versus
if the OP want to go water , the second option is way better, of course it cost more, but you get for what you pay for. All for say that D14 or H100 are on same league, but the H100 is part of enthusiast Water Cooling League
This will be very sexy in the same corsair case. Will show it to you this week end, I have an extra 800d laying under my bench , so the OP can judge the 3 options

I do agree with you. There are a lot of people that only will use air and some only use liquid. I myself, have always gone the air route but was thinking of mixing it up a bit and going with a liquid system. Just didn't know if what I was planning on doing with the new mobo and cpu would get better performance with air or liquid. And of course as I mentioned in the original post, I am up for suggestions on powerhouse coolers. Around $100 price tag though.
