Say goodbye for Intel Turbo Boost MAX 3.0 Driver due EOL with SA-00243

A potential security vulnerability in the Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 driver may allow escalation of privilege.
Intel is not releasing updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability and has issued a Product Discontinuation notice
for the Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 driver.

Intel has issued a Product Discontinuation notice for the Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 driver and
recommends that users of the Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 driver uninstall it or discontinue use
at their earliest convenience. This does not affect Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 functionality when
used with in operating systems with native support (Windows 10 RS5 and later).

I always used native TB3 😛

not sure why ASUS have OS Support as Default setting for TB3
Other mainboard manufacturers like GIGABYTE have TB3 native as Default

remove INtel Turbo Boost 3.0...
Here's a proper way to disable the application (with device driver intact).
1. RIght-click on the tray icon, and disable it.
2. Open Task Scheduler and disable Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0

3. Open Command Prompt and type “sc config ITBMService start= disabled”
4. Reboot.
Now back into bios and disable EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep), and Enable SpeedSHIFT.
F10 to save and reboot.

Funny how they made a huge PITA to get rid of for the longest time.
Uninstall and it would come right back. Now its as simple as an uninstall.

This thing keeps getting installed every time I restart. But at least it is disabled now. Any idea to how to get rid of this thing completely?

I did every step above.

Depending on your Windows 10 version. If you use version 2004 and above it was disable by default.
Older version must be uninstalling by manual.*

even after a fresh instal, windows instals the intel turbo program.
there is no way to uninstal it unless you go in to registry and do some magic there or other places ( did a google on it but i did not dare to do enny thing ).
and now when i try to add a new asmsung 870 qvs drive i cant get it to format ( due to the intel turbo efing things up on me )
