The new 3006 Bios (tested with MC 68) in my Asus Omega seems to improve memory stability with manual overclock.

Improve system performance and stability=generic expression including tweaks to improve performance (cpu, memory, cache) and fix stability or device compatibility issues.
Improve DRAM stability=it's supposed to fix both manual and xmp memory configuration, trying to make things more stable.
Update RC code for new CPU=update reference code for new cpu
Update ME FW=Bios internal Management Engine firmware has been updated to 11.12.0.1622
Update IRST and RSTe driver=RST and RSTe firmwares have been updated to newest versions (RSTe is the latest available one, while RST is not)
Fix AURA issue when using Intel thunderbolt devices=fix Aura issue
Fix some M.2 device detect issue=fix M.2 detection issue (some m.2's will now be detected properly)

Why did my Omega update the BIOS to 3006 and get MC60 instead of MC68(i9-9980xe)

I modded the 3006 to use mc68 instead of the original mc60 present in the 3006 bios.
