Maximum number of NVME disks on Zenith II

I run into the following problem. It appears that maximum number of NVME disks this motherboard supports when BIOS is in RAID mode is 9. It works fine with 10 NVMEs in ACPI mode.

Is it expected?

Details of my configuration: all 5 on-board M.2 slots are used. PCI NVME SSD in PCI slot #4. Highpoint SSD7120 NVMe Raid controller in PCI slot #2, four U.2 NVME SSDs connected to this controller.
