Recently got one of the last bhphoto KS's and a like-new Apex XI. Custom water loop has a Optimus V2, EK pump/res and EK PE 360. BIOS cooling rating about 200.
All I've done so far is set the default, set XMP 1 for my 2x8 4266 C19's, and set all cores to x52. Vcore is max 1.32, max temps on my usual benchmarks is 82 deg. No extensive stress tests yet, but looking good.Last edited by hdtvnut; 02-28-2020 at 02:18 AM.

4266 about sweet spot for tha cpu and motherboards
I can run ram at 4600 stable but get better benchmarks at 4300 and 4266. When I run ram at this speed I can run caches at 5.2 stable and cpu at 5.6 + Ive run cpu and caches 1 to 1 at 5.3 very stable and benchmarks that our very close in score with cpu at 5.6 custom loop cooling and open garage winter time here.

Those figures looked too good to me; I got suspicious and tried varying the multiplier. Sure enough, I couldn't reproduce them. Although the BIOS was at X52, and the benchmarks were consistent with that, the system acted like it was at X51 Vcore and temperature-wise. Can't figure why. What I have gotten by several procedures since is X52 at Vcore 1.400, temps more like 84 or 85 deg at tdp around 190w. So not a "golden" chip, but OK.

Yep I was lucky and got a gold chip from newegg running 0 avx also.
