As of about 5 or six weeks ago my front panel audio has suddenly stopped working properly.

When I plug headphones in I get stuck on the "detecting headphone impedance." If i just leave it there or press OK, I do get a very faint sound, and if I run the sound test it is faint and distorted.

I've tried a few different pairs of headphones and it does the same for them as well. I've checked my headphones on my phone and stereo, and they are working just fine, also they are working fine from the rear panel, but it does not do the same impedance detection.

Any ideas?
